Our Health Guarantee

Each puppy is sold to the buyer(s) in good health and has been thoroughly examined by a licensed veterinarian.

Symptomatic Genetic Hip Dysplasia

We guarantee said puppy to be free to SYMPTOMATIC genetic hip dysplasia for up to 25 months of age. This guarantee includes remodeling of the femoral head/neck, osteoarthritis/degenerative joint disease, shallow acetabula, ace tabular rim/edge change, unilateral pathology, transitional vertebra, spondylosis, and panosteitis. THIS GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER SUBLUXATION. If your veterinarian suspects a dysplasia problem, x-rays showing this condition must be verified by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). This x-ray must be done by 25 months of age. Our veterinarian will have final say if the dysplasia is genetic or environmentally caused. We do not guarantee against dysplasia which may have been caused by poor nutrition, injury or other environmental causes.

Life-threatening Diseases or Defects

We guarantee against all life-threatening genetic and/or congenial defects/diseases up to 25 months of age. If your veterinarian suspects the above said puppy has a life-threatening genetic/congenial defect/disease, all vet records must be sent to our veterinarian. Our veterinarian will have final say if the said health issue is genetic/congenital. The seller agrees to at that point take back the above said dog/puppy and replace it with a puppy of similar value when one is available. A REPLACEMENT PUPPY WILL NOT BE PROVIDED WITHOUT THE RETURN OF THE ORIGINAL PUPPY. The seller is not responsible for any veterinarian costs incurred during the above process.

We Do Not Guarantee

 

Seller does not guarantee conditions brought on by stress, environmental changes or the environment that we, the seller, cannot control once said puppy leaves our care. Therefore our guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia, parasites, viral and/or bacterial infections after the puppy leaves our care. We do not guarantee against Parvo Virus, Coccidiosis, Distemper, Giardia or Corona Virus. These are highly contagious diseases/parasites that can be contracted immediately upon leaving our property. Common parasites found in the environment pose no risk to a healthy puppy with a strong immune system. Puppies who are over stressed are at a high risk of developing a parasite infection. It is up to you, the new owner, to keep your puppy. in a low stress environment.
